There’s something immediately inviting about this release “Early Virgins” the debut EP of wAHb. This artist isn’t chasing perfection or fame, he just makes music that speaks and that’s exactly what happens here. The EP is emotional and doesn’t try too hard to impress, it just sounds warm and honest. The first song, “King of Hearts” captivates you with gentle guitar and a kind of warmth that only comes from a person who means every line he sings. His voice has that quiet tone that makes you stop what you’re doing and actually listen. It’s simple but done perfectly and we love it.

Shorties for the Camel” keeps that same feeling alive. The acoustic riffs shimmer gently in the background while his vocals float over them. The production is simple and the sound is raw and unpolished in the best way. You can hear this wasn’t produced to fit a trend, it’s just him, in his own universe, saying what he has to say.

Following is “Dawn” which features a little different instrumental that meshes perfectly with his heartfelt delivery. The song lets you slow down and enjoy the moment, it takes you to another world with its captivating instrumentation and melodies. All sounds natural and incredibly emotional. And then there’s “Gone” which closes the EP with honest songwriting and great production that lets you really focus on his voice, the gentle acoustic guitar and all the small things layered in the mix. We think it’s the kind of song that stays with you after it ends.

As you listen to this EP, you can almost believe that wAHb is standing right in front of you with his guitar playing and telling his personal stories. It’s so raw, so real and that’s exactly what makes him such a unique musician to listen to. He plays multiple instruments, collaborates with intimate friends and the whole EP breathes like something created in a space filled with love and late-night talks.

Early Virgins” isn’t just a debut but it’s a promise of an artist who’s just getting started and you can sense that it’s going to be a really special journey. Stay connected with wAHb on social media for updates on future releases:  Facebook Instagram Spotify Bandcamp.
