Hey Natalie, could you tell me a few things about yourself?
I was born and raised in Topeka, Kansas, where I spent most of my childhood on a
stage. Whether I was dancing, singing, or acting, I have always loved to perform for
others. I always knew I wanted a career as an artist and when the opportunities
presented themselves to make my dreams become a reality, I had to take that leap of
faith. In August of 2021, I packed up my things and moved 650 miles away from home
to attend Middle Tennessee State University as a music business major.
What strengths do you have that you believe make you a great musician?
I believe that my voice is my strength when it comes to being a great musician. The
beautiful thing about music is that every artist/singer has a different and unique sound.
When I was younger, I struggled with finding my own sound but being able to create
original songs helped me find my sound and style.
What does music mean to you?
When I listen to music, I’m always focused on the emotions I feel during a song.
Growing up in dance, we were always told to listen to what the music or lyrics were
telling you. As an artist, I think about what emotions I am feeling when writing a song
and how do I convey that through my voice.
What could you tell me about your new single, ”She’s Going Places”?
The inspiration from this song came from this picture of a map that is hanging in my
room, with the phrase “She’s going Places”. When I first saw this picture and what it
said, I thought it really related to my life because at the time I had just made the
decision to apply to MTSU and prepare for a career in the music industry. I think it helps
others who have big dreams to push themselves out of their comfort zone and reach for
their dreams.
What is it about music that makes you feel passionate?
Music plays a huge part in everyone’s life whether it be blasting songs in the car,
dancing with friends, or you just need an escape from reality. I love how powerful music
is to create communities among the fans and artist. My goal as artist is create music
that people can relate to and hopefully able to bring out some sort of emotion.
What are your plans for the future?
As of right now, I am planning to work on ideas and songs and hopefully play some
shows. I am currently a junior in college, so I am starting the process of looking for
internships to apply to.
What important message would you like to share with our readers?
I am super excited to announce that my newest single “My Revenge” is dropping
September! This song will be on all streaming platforms if you’d like to keep up with

What do you feel is the best song that you have ever released and why?
My favorite song that I’ve released so far, would have to be “She’s Going Places”. I love
the message behind this song because it not only tells my story but also can relate to so
many other people who have big dreams. This song is also uniquely different from my
first EP I released in November of 2021. Overall, I think this song is upbeat and fun,
while maintaining a deeper meaning.
