Hey Carl, could you share with us a bit about your background and how you first got started in the music industry?

I grew up in Dumas Arkansas in a small town. I first got started when I was in the 7th grade when my mother bought me my first musical keyboard for Christmas. My mother was also a musician, and I followed her footsteps into music industry.

“One” is your latest single and has gained significant attention. Can you delve into the inspiration behind this song and what it means to you personally?

My inspiration comes from my family, this song meaning means the world to me because it is about us all living together in unity.

Your music often showcases a blend of genres. How do you go about weaving together different musical styles while maintaining your unique style I just focus on creating the song, and feeling the song, not so much on genres. My style has developed naturally by growing up singing in the church.

“One” seems to evoke a range of emotions in listeners. How do you channel your own emotions into your music, and how does this process influence your songwriting?

I try to channel my own emotions in writing the song this helps my songwriting and when I perform the song.

Yes, I collabored with Ossico, another talented artist. We both put our best into creating this song together. This made the creative process even better.

I try to inspire listeners with my lyrics and tell stories that touches their hearts.
I just write what I feel at the moment when creating the song.

I like to feel the song as I perform it and every song is different. When I was creating this song, it just took on a life of its own.

From the time I started till now I have learned a ton. I am learning and growing everyday as a music artist.
